Expressing your 'self' in social networking

This is all about how we make our inner character visible to others through social networking sites such as facebook.
Social networking has now emerged as an inevitable part of daily routine for most of us. It exists for a very good reason and we all sign in for our own reasons.

Does your facebook timeline and 'Likes' digitally represent you as a person? The answer could be 'yes' if you had chosen to let your clicks honestly reflect your mind.Every person who posts in facebook is watching out for the 'Like's and your clicks are being watched very closely.

Below is a simple check list which will tell you how you are being exposed

  • Does your posts truly reflect your mind?
The answer should be most likely 'yes'. If you are someone who makes lot of posts, then by now you should have expressed your mind enough and your friends should know what you stand for.

  • Do you really like all that you have 'Like'd in facebook?
Because clicking 'Like' button has become an unavoidable part of your daily life you may occasionally get tempted to compromise on your likes? Life is all about 'give & take' and so is the 'Likes' in facebook. We all love to be 'Like'd. We enjoy seeing lot of'Likes' for our photos. That being the case you don't want me to explain the consequence of not 'Liking' someones profile picture...do you?

  • Did you ever choose NOT to click 'Like' button even though you liked it?
Again it's back to the 'give & take' principle. If you closely observe you would see that 'photos' get the maximum likes from friends irrespective of its quality. The reason is simple. Everybody at some point upload their photos -:)

Now let's take another example. By chance have you chosen NOT to click 'Like' for the creativity of one of your friend and was that a conscious decision driven by the powerful 'give & take' principle because you don't anyway expect that in return? Remember .. your jealous is getting exposed because your decision to NOT click is also being watched equally -:)

So here is the bottom line. Your posts , likes and comments are being closely observed by people and every click or decision to NOT click is an 'expression' of your character and its absolutely your choice how much you want to express & hide.

This was not posted expecting your 'like's , but still you can consider clicking that button -:)
